Bluey-Led Consumer Products Help BBC Commercial Lift EBITDA 17% to £267 Million
BBC Commercial reported 2025/26 EBITDA of £267 million ($357.1 million), up 17%, while revenue remained approximately flat at £2.2 billion. It returned £377 million ($504.2 million) to the BBC. Variety’s publisher-feed report says direct-to-consumer services and consumer products, led by Bluey, powered the improvement despite difficult market conditions. The result extends the prior year’s pattern: BBC filings reported £228 million of EBITDA on £2.155 billion of revenue in 2024/25 and identified Bluey licensing as a significant consumer-products contributor. BBC evidence says it does not disclose revenue for individual IP, preventing a precise Bluey revenue or royalty calculation.
