Alibaba joins PixVerse’s Series C extension as the AI-video round reaches $439 million

AI-video company PixVerse, operated by Beijing Aishi Technology/AIsphere, completed a Series C extension that brought total Series C funding to $439 million. New investors include Alibaba, Lollapalooza Capital, Ivy Capital, Grand Mount Capital, Eastern Bell Capital, Mirae Asset, BlueFocus and CloudAlpha. TechCrunch reported a valuation above $2 billion. The unusually large round signals continued concentration of private capital in compute-intensive generative-video and world-model companies.
