Magic’s Star Trek set pairs premium pricing with roughly 1,750 actor-signed chase cards

Wizards of the Coast unveiled the full commercial structure for Magic: The Gathering | Star Trek, opening preorders for a November 13 release. The range spans $6.99 Play Boosters, $37.99 Collector Boosters, $74.99 Commander decks, $159.99 Collector’s Edition Commander decks and several bundles. Its marquee collectible hook is seven actor-signed headliner cards, approximately 250 copies apiece, inserted only in Collector Boosters. The combination of broad retail formats, a $37.99 premium booster and about 1,750 total signed cards makes this a meaningful test of whether cross-franchise collectors will support Magic’s increasingly premium product ladder.
