DTCC Processes Live Production Trades With Tokenized DTC Securities

DTCC converted securities held at its Depository Trust Company subsidiary into digital tokens and used them in production transactions spanning collateral, securities lending, Treasury/repo, equity and margin workflows. More than 30 financial and digital-asset firms participated across DTCC’s private Hyperledger Besu network and the public Canton network. The exercise precedes a planned October 2026 launch of the DTCC Tokenization Service.
