Kraken Adds Dollar-Settled Bitcoin and Ether Options for Professional Clients

Kraken has launched European-style, cash-settled BTC and ETH options for eligible professional and institutional Kraken Pro clients. The initial product uses request-for-quote execution, offers weekly through semiannual expiries, settles premiums and profit-and-loss in U.S. dollars, and combines spot, futures and options under portfolio margin in one wallet. Kraken plans European availability, a public order book and more assets in later phases, subject to regulation.
