Netflix Acquires U.S. and Latin American Rights to Danny Boyle’s “Ink”

Netflix acquired U.S. and Latin American rights to “Ink,” Danny Boyle’s film adaptation of James Graham’s play about Rupert Murdoch’s early tabloid empire. Studiocanal, which produced the film with Media Res and House Productions, retains a theatrical role across territories including the U.K., France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Benelux, Australia and New Zealand. WME Independent and Studiocanal handled the Netflix transaction. Financial terms, release-window details and the extent of any U.S. theatrical commitment were not disclosed.
